this days we are living in a;
.persecution of our faith.
. Peter sent a letter to the pilgrims of dispersion because of persecution.
He advised the following;
. How Christians should live in a community; To Be likeminded,sympathetic, loving, compassion and humble. The adjective describe what is inside a person who believe in Christ.
For we have the same goal and value and intentions to glorify God and love our neighbors as ourself. For we are of one mind in faith in Christ Jesus.
Been “Sympathetic”to our brothers in weakness shows our understanding and care of their pain and suffering .
Been “Loving”puts the need of others before our own need,for God so love the world that he gave his only begotten son to save us) we seek the help of Christ to become a good Samaritans.
A Humble person doesn’t not think too high of himself , but trust in the Lord to lift him up. (Philippians 2:6-8) a humble person has the heart of Christ. Though he was God, he did not think of equality with God as something to cling to, instead he gave up his divine privileges; he took the humble position of his space and born as a human being.
How Christians are called to respond to evil;
By not returning evil for evil or reviling for reviling , but instead , returning a blessing, knowing that for this you were called. God allows such thing to accomplish a purpose in our life.
. For we are called to do good and if we suffer for doing good ,we should know that God is on our side and willsee us through.
3. Inherit a blessing;
. That you may inherit a blessing. The context seems to indicate temporal blessing. For we do not work for our salvation but as a result of our salvation
People need the lord, when we realize to give our life to the Lord.
Do you have sensitivity to respond the needy? Do you have sensitivity to the sufferings? Many people are going through a difficult time and need a hand to live another day, the lease we can offer is what God has given is, be it money, words of encouragement, physical presence and prayers.
Let the Lord move our hearts to respond to the needy.
